Meet MARILYN TALBOT


 

I am a second generation realtor. My mother was a licensed real estate agent for approximately 20 yrs in the Maple Ridge area and held the esteemed position in the Medallion Club of one of the top 10 agents in the Greater Vancouver.  Well, it's hard being raised in this environment and not grow to foster integrity and honesty and appreciate real estate sales!

Born and raised in the Lower Mainland of beautiful British Columbia, in Maple Ridge, I grew to love the peaceful setting, the horses, the gorgeous snow-peaked mountains and fresh country air.  I grew up on a small hobby farm with my horse and spent endless hours riding the Golden Ears with my sisters or friends. I miss those times dearly!  Chilliwack is now my home and the best location to nourish my love of country.  Chilliwack is wholesome and with it's pastoral and lovely mountain ranges, I certainly feel privileged to live here.  

Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland communities have grown in leaps and bounds over the years and have changed so much.  It can be a real challenge to find the perfect place, but I am here to help you find your home in the best location possible!

I represent customers in their purchases and sales of single family residences, hobby farm and equestrian properties.  I take my fiduciary duty to you very seriously.  So, my first and foremost responsibility is to look after the best interests of my customers and set them up for long term success.  Understanding your needs and your wants is such a vital part of my job, particularly in order to protect your interests.  When you work with me you receive my undivided attention and loyalty.

Licensed in real estate since 2004 and combined with my previous accounting and provincial government experiences, my valuable skills will benefit both the Buyer and the Seller.  I also have experience related to the property management field which is serving as a wonderful transferable asset that now benefits my clients as well.  I can help you with decisions such as how to showcase your property, what changes you might make prior to selling, suggestions on how to enhance the saleability of your home and recommendations on sprucing things up in general.  My marketing history in advertising and sales will be a definite asset to you.
